What information we collect
We only collect what we need to help you:
- Contact form: your name, email address and the message you send us.
- Technical data: when you submit the form, our system records your IP address and the page you came from, to help prevent spam and abuse.
- Server logs: our hosting keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, pages requested) for security and reliability.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not buy or sell personal data. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used; you can accept or reject this in our cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for details.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and provide support you ask for. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (and your consent when you choose to contact us).
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
Where we handle sensitive information you choose to share (for example about your wellbeing), we treat it with extra care and only use it to support you.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and our reasonable follow-up, then delete them. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf under contract:
- WPMU DEV: website hosting and email.
- Cloudflare: content delivery and security.
We may share information if required by law, or to protect someone's safety. We will never sell your data.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email info@mentalwealthcommunitycic.co.uk.
